In that case you will have to wait someone with a Mac to help you, because I don't think DC owns one to test for bugs (or does he?)
I guess that at least 95% of all users around here are using the windows version. so it's very hard to get help with mac or linux problems.
for the map load problem:
please open and check the console for a more detailed error message after trying to load the map! afterwards tell us what it says (if you don't understand what to do by reading the message)!
cant join my maps. as i said, i did try re-downloading cs2d, fixed nothing. so i am fairly confused.
