I believe a lot of those websites changed their sharing policy to private, meaning only if you uploaded the file you can access it.

Personally, I agree with this, if you like something buy it!

If you will be using it for a long time and not just one project, then you should buy it. I dl only that software and games that I need now and not in the future. Pretty much everything I use or play is bought.

If it's too expensive then use different software, there are tons of free photo editing software. Gimp for example
