The CPU doesn't really contribute to a computers pixel-pumping power unless the "ultrabook" is using the integrated graphics, in which case... well, ye. Intel's graphics chips suck.
Topic:
Rust is being written by Garry Newman, who is ( by my knowledge ) much less experienced in game development than the team at Bohemia studios. So, quality win. The only cool-ish feature about Rust is the ability to build things, which in my opinion is best left to Minecraft, not a zombie survival game.

Actually thats not true, since rust also has zombies in it.
