I found a bug. I cant even call it bug anymore. Its more likely glitch... no I think my stranded is corrupted. I created thread about that sh*t. I will try to put there screenshot if I will be lucky and wont get blue screen.
I decided to sign up on this forum to raport this issue. Since I've been away of the game for years... I have Stranded 2 and ext mod 1.3.1(2?) Every time I start new game(mostly random island mode) parrots flying in "vertical" position! Even when they landed on the ground or trees - in horizontal.
Also fly under the surface.
Biggest problem is: Every time I build a storage(no matter which) after few days there is a bunch of parrots inside one of them. I mean they collide with texture of the storage and I must destroy that whole structure to kill these bastards. The sound of roaring all that parrots at once is painfull! I can't play this way.
There was completly wrong animations in mods/s2ext/sys/Units/parrot.
For every one who have this problem just go to mods and original Mods/Stranded 2/sys/units and find the parrot + copy its animation parameters to ext mod units. These parameters are mess-up and it is completly different. Just open both units folders and You will see!
No more parot stuck! But I must destroy my stock one last time again Hahah!
Cheers!
EDIT: Man, It not helped with parrots but they fly with proper animations now.
EDIT 2: I need help!
I know from my own experience, when I create a map in map-editor, there is a black screen after hitting test map button. Thats occurs only sometimes but I decided to create a map today and spend 4 hours in building it. Now I can't play it because of black screen.
I am unable to destroy berry bushes I planted. I placed them around my house and wanted to remove it. I started to punch it but nothing happened. I was able to destroy a few, but the rest were permanently. Some are able to go away, others not.
All the information I can give: I download the game about a year ago, so it may be an old addition. I planted the berry bushes a lot of saves ago. Only a handful are able to be destroyed. They gave leaves, but the ones that I planted that wouldn't break couldn't give any leaves and didn't make the sound effect normally made when I hit them. I tried for a while at different angles and on different berry bushes. Nothing worked.
1) Open the object_bushes.inf file in Notepad or another editor.
2) Scroll down to Berry Bush ID=46.
3) See the col=0definition and change it to col=2
4) Click the SAVE in the top left FILE menu to save it.
fixed
edit: Please stop back and let us know if that fixed it. ty
