I was wondering on who owns the cs2D.EU server? I'd like to report a bit of issues with it.
It's one of my favorite servers but I just don't like the fact that there are bots in it, it just ruins the gameplay, considering it's one of the most visited servers.

Bots added to bring newcomers and make their gameplay easier to learn. Imagine u meet me 1n1 or spooky u gonna rq. So they must bring online to have chance to kill somebody.

well yes, but if they truly want bots then they can just make their own little server and practice there no?
also what is there to even learn about the game? it's not that hard.

The worst of all is newbies entering servers full of bots thinking they are playing with real players, and the fact that they enter these servers with bots ends up indirectly forcing Quick Play to throw other players to that same server.

Yeah, that also insanely misleading too, I don't like the fact that cs2d.EU is mostly bots, cause alot of newbies just thinking they're good and then leaving the second they die to ROFLCopter or some stupid stuff like that, it's such a useless add on. If the owner can give us an option to completely remove the bots from the server I'd be happy.

On my server, I set up a system similar to the original CS. I add some bots, and as players join, the bots automatically leave. Eventually, all the bots are removed, and only real players remain in the game.

that's what they NEED to do, it's a huge misleading. if they wanna train with bots then they can just hop on a private server smh. where do beginners exist on a 20 year old game?

With the game's release on Steam, we get new players every now and then, and most of them don't bother to learn how the game works.

Furthermore, most of the time they get beaten and can't handle the pressure, ending up giving up the game within a few minutes. When there's nothing we can do about it, only the real men stay in the game.

how would they NOT know how the game works? it's literally the easiest thing ever. you have a circular crosshair, and you use it to aim and kill enemies. what's so hard here, is there something i don't understand?

The current generation is used to games that practically play themselves. You just click or tap on the screen, and the game does most of the work while the player watches more than interacts.

Today's games are designed to cater to people who want instant gratification without much challenge, minimizing frustration. Additionally, many of them involve microtransactions, giving players advantages if they spend money. Games, as we knew them, are no longer the same.
