10 replies so here is the deal, my servers only appear in lan, so i configured firewall, and was searching for router. i looked at my router/modem (huawei e960) and saw that wlan was on. i obviously need to turn that off 
but will it affect the entire network, i think my dad worked hard to get this network up and i dont want to screw it up. so i have two questions.
will it affect the whole server?
how the hell do i turn wlan off (can it be from my cpu which is connected to network or does it have to be my dad's in which the router is actually plugged into)? first, do not check "Offline/Lan". second, you need to forward 36963 in your router settings. you dont have do turn off wlan, this is complete bullshit. i have done both of those things, it is still in lan, im sure i have to turn wlan off. well...when you are in the internet with wlan its completly dumb to that. its even dumb when you use a lan-cable. it cant be the solution of the problem.
have you forwarded the ports for the correct ip? go to run -> cmd -> ipconfig and look up your ip. im sure thats the problem, i am hooked to a lan network, so my servers only appear in that lan network. and i didnt understand a word you said. anybody know the answers to my questions?? maybe you have problems with your wlan-cable. buy a new one...
or just turn wlan off. omfg, i dont have problems.
OMFG!! thats exactly what im asking, how the fuck do i turn it OFF!! and will i be able to do that from a computer that is hooked up to the network and not the router. and will it turn the whole network off!!

start or control panel -> manage networkconnections (something like that) -> right click on wireless network -> disable.
this isnt difficult. why did you heard to me and asking me new questions instead of google it? i DID google it but didnt get anything good. thanks ill try that. but then i think i will lose internet :s
yea i lose internet :s maybe its the router port 36369 which i dont get :s w...t...f. you are saying you use LAN to got to internet and when you disable WLAN you will lose internet too? omfg.
just look in google about port forwarding and do that with port 36963 on your router. ok, ill try that, but why i lose internet is this:
im hooked to a network which provides internet, so if i unhook, obviously ill lose internet too
