i noticed already that you can not play it even...
that much you post it everywhere... you wont get any pity as its up to you...

anyway things like :"Haven't tried the map, but it seems to work. I've checked the files, it doesn't look corrupted. So I think it should run fine" are not really constructive and in a way a personal attack as you think i upload files here which i've not tested...
no need to response again...

I don't know if it was on purpose or not, but you can touch the background of the map which is on most maps unusual because the whole map would be surrounded with walls and behind that the background,
either way, I find it pretty ugly that it's put in a way that you can touch the background of the map, no matter if it's set on WALL or OBSTACLE or whatever. The amount of trees is in my opinion too much, adding a wall in the trees in which would represent the log of the tree of which you can hide behind would be great. The gameplay seems good, I can imagine it being played by 12 players or so, there is a decent amount of cover and you have to jump from cover to cover and you have the chance of being hit when you try to jump from one cover to the other, that's pretty nice. I don't mind that it's made with default tiles, but for some other mapmakers like KimKat it would be a downfall for the map if you make it with default tiles, but I only look at the gameplay and creativity and perhaps the beautifull factor of the map. It seems pretty hard to get the enemy flag, and I think it's because of the lack of cover in the middle of the map, there's cover to the right and left, but in the middle including the bridge is a bit coverless, I would add some boxes in a good way on some areas. The bridge looks good, nothing really wrong with it. So for all this, I rated it a "okay" AKA a "3" to your map.

EDIT: The rating was based on your map being played on standard mode, if it's being played on construction mode then I'd have a different view of it, it would be better and you wouldn't need to add any cover because players can already build stuff. So basically your map is very good if played in construction mode, I can already imagine some tactics and strategies like placing buildings on bridges etc.

But I think I know why we add default maps, because we don't have enough time or is simply to lazy to make those custom tiles for the custom maps, well it happens sometimes. Well for me it's three or more reasons why I don't have time to make some custom maps with custom tiles, one reason is school lol. I've done default maps myself recently when I was on playing CS2D max. I used the standard tileset, I find it good. And simple to use, very good tileset.
Although, it wouldn't be fair to me by releasing another default map unless it has some new in it. Something fun, and stuff. That's what I aim for in maps. That's why I'm gonna do harder work when it comes to maps in the future. I'm gonna spend time on a tileset, and actually make something out of it.

That map Circa created was good, however it's nothing new to my eyes. To me, every default map basicly looks the same. But not entirely the same, that'd be really weird. The only thing that I can think of that seperates the default maps is the layouts, and the sounds if there is any.

I still think the map is worthy in my opinion, it's a ctf map with default tiles and some tree's. Very good, but the map would look better with some custom tiles. Not just simple tilesets, but really good looking tilesets. Takes some time to create though, but that is what it takes for a good map.

Can't think of anything else in the map. Haven't tried it yet, but I bet it's somewhat fun. Good work Circa, keep mapping.

It's quite simple actually, to make some tiles open MS Paint or any other graphic editing tool. I use the GIMP and MS Paint.

Simply make a name for the tileset that you're making and edit it for a while with a graphic editing tool, (photoshop) or any other programme, afterwards make sure the tileset of the map you're about to make doesn't already exists in the "tiles" folder in CS2D max. Get a unique name for each tileset you make. For example "de_dust_remake7.bmp" and put the tileset in the CS2D max "/gfx/tiles" folder and edit your map's tiles ingame by clicking something like... map options. And from there you can select you're own tileset that you created be sure to assign tile informations to the tiles once you're gonna use the tileset for your map(s).

Tile informations is important for maps, without it the map goes crazy, all tiles will scatter at random and that will basicly crash your map, so be sure to add some tile informations. Which is the things that's called (Wall, Obstacle, Floor NoSound(default), Floor Wade, Floor Snow, Deadly Floor, and so on...)

If there's anything else, there is tutorials on FPSB.

Well you could just google it.

Google these keywords "fpsbanana tutorial cs2d tiles" it'll bring you some results I hope. From there read one or more tutorials from the list on google.
