9 replies I was playing and notice some players saying uprate 1 and 2 and shit whats uprate and how do you uprate? sry I dont know how to explain that in english but uprate need less traffic so its better to play
to set the uprate value
press ^ to open the console
and enter

Yes its the sign left of the 1. However on german keyboards its an " ^ " not an " ` ".
However be careful with changing the uprate. It can be good but it also can make the gameplay/ping/lag worse. This depends on yours and the server's connection. You can use low values for uprate (-> movements are sent more frequently) with fast connections but with slower connections you should use 2 or 3 as value and not 1. thank you for clearing that up lol im still new to this game only played 3d. In Counterstrike 1.6 is an console too -.- with lots of useful commands but i enter uprate 1 but nothing happened Lee Moderator Offline
