Bee stings react to acid, so put some mild acidic stuff like lemon juice. If it's a wasp sting, then use something alkaline like bitter gourd. That's all I can help, getting a swelling around the sting is okay, as long as your not doing anything to it, it will be fine in a couple of days or so.
