Somehow I'm 99% sure that you haven't tried replacing LWJGL libraries. That's what you should do first instead of googling. Please, use Java 6 as LWJGL dislikes Java 7 a bit.
http://lwjgl.org/download.php
Here. Try downloading 2.8.4 or 2.9.0 if you have Windows 7 64-bit and just download latest night build if you're on any other Windows distribution (including Windows 7 32-bit).

Please, don't listen to these fools recommending you bullshit. You don't need NET Framework (it's for C# apps), it's not because of either DirectX or CPU drivers. Nor because of video card drivers. Don't bother yourself.

I see you have ATI graphic card. Just a hint - never buy ATI graphic card if you need it for gaming. Buy NVIDIA instead. ATI is good in performance. I have ATI, but I mostly use my laptop for multimedia works and rarely for gaming.

@user oxytamine, ATI works for multimedia as long as you don't need to run Adobe Premiere... Then NVIDiA is again better, cause mostly all new NVIDiA graphic cards (including my) have CUDA support, that is recomended for Adobe Premiere... (just saying)..., and however..., log file WOULD help...

Edit 1: lets don't forget that some developers are ading up for JAVA a C# (or other "C" language) as good...
And better is to have all of this, cause when you are playing games, mostly you need all of these things...

I don't want to start a flame war here about graphic cards - I'm just telling you that most of the games are optimized for NVIDIA graphic chips. NVIDIA also reacts better and updates their drivers faster.

Nevertheless, NVIDIA lacks power. ATI has it, ATI graphic chips can process way more than NVIDIA. In matters of performance ATI always wins. And by the way, all of Adobe products work with both NVIDIA and ATI graphic cards. But with ATI you can process and render videos/music better. When I say "better" I don't mean faster (it depends a lot on CPU), but more smooth. Adobe Premiere is as lame as Sony Vegas, none of them are used in film/TV industry, so I didn't mean these programs.

@user oxytamine, simply usualy (from everyone) I am hearing "ATI for games", "NVIDiA for work".... but what ever... we are far into the offtopic... (even if this is "offtopic" room, but still here is a "topic"...)

And without seeing the log, it's hard to say what is the problem... And we need to know his PC brains, and it's drivers verions, as good as DirectX version

(i will update my own dx... too long time without a proper web-update....)

just checked.. the newes dx version should be: "6.01.7601.17515" for 64 bit... (this you can get know by pressinf "Run 64-bit DxDiag")...
or
"6.01.7601.17514" for 32 bit (first result...)

This problem cannot be related to DirectX. Java3D is powered by OpenGL. Most of 3D Java applications are powered by OpenGL with some notable exceptions. There is no proper DirectX support for Java. It also makes no sense to use DirectX for 2D game (I only mean Java here).

This problem is related to Java only. Not even his hardware. May be software issues, but never hardware. May be wrong pointers & bindings - so I have suggested replacing LWJGL libraries. Also LWJGL is known to work worse with Windows 7 64-bit and with Java 7.

I don't know who says that NVIDIA for work, but large companies such as Rockstar Games favor NVIDIA.

I don't have another useable Graficscard here for this computer.
@user oxytamine: I bought for 870Euros a nice gaming computer with a Nvidia GTX660 but it's maybe gone for around four weeks if not longer (long story which I'm to lazy to translate into english).
And no, I replaced the library as user macymagiska112 told me to do.

If you want you can take a look at the problem with TeamViewer. Just PM me.

Have you got Catalyst Control Panel installed? Also known as AMD VISION Engline Control Center, Catalyst Control Centre, etc. I forgot to ask since it's essential if you have ATI graphic card.

Yes, I guess I installed it two days ago.
Would it help to install Win7 32Bit? Because I got a CD with it here.

Are you sure you have installed correct version? Things are a bit messy on their web-site. Have you tried playing with settings in control panel? You need pixel shading or something like that. Try enabling triple buffering for OpenGL. Although by the error you sent I can say that game might use DirectX instead of OpenGL.

It might (!) help, but if you got more than 4 GB RAM it would make no sense to install 32-bit distribution.

I can't acces into the Catalyst Control Center, that's the thing. I had the same problem already on Vista before. I installed it then because my graficscard didn't supported 16:9. But I was never able to acces into that CP.

The problem is probably with Catalyst Control Centre. Try re-installing it. Have you used auto-detect? Auto-detect has never worked for me when installing drivers/control centre. Selecting my graphic card did not help either - web-site always gave me wrong drivers & software. I told you, it's messy. What you must do is go to the link below instead.
http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/radeon_win7-64.aspx
Download beta one (I have it, it's okay). Somehow on that page they don't say that you must select your graphic card so I suppose it works for any AMD graphic chip. I told you, their web-site is fucked up.

Tell me if that link has worked for you. Then right-click on the Desktop and you'll see control centre options.

At the first try a bluescreen occured. After the second one the install manager noticed there were warnings or similar stuff. I'm still not able to enter into the CP with RMB on Desktop.
edit: The Protocoll said that Audiodrivers aren't sucessfully installed. This happened at the third and second time.

That's all really weird. All I can recommend you right now is to go straight to their forums and ask there.

agree with user oxytamine....... cause it's quite intresting... I guess Acer + AMD is not the best choice..

edit 1: Shit! Acer + AMD + INTELL!!! myes... AMD is good as long as there is ATI processor... (how much I know...)

This computer is around 6 years old. And it's supposed to run at least 2 more years because I'll give it to someone.
