Hello fellow users, staffs. today, I need some help, When I get bored from CS2D, I like to play mc, but when I join mineplex for example (in the lobby/hub) I lag, I get like 30 FPS, somehow sometimes I get 70 FPS or 60.. I have a 1GB computer and I don't use optifine because I use a different minecraft version than the others.

Thanks.

Regards,
Jepo.

-ZxC, sorry. I double clicked.

The Forge version works with OptiFine and FastCraft as mods.
And how is your version different that you can't install OptiFine?

-Update Java
-Install the latest hardware drivers
-PC specs pls
-Lower the settings
-set javaw.exe to the high priority
-Turn off the music
-Give Minecraft more memory with the command -Xmx[value][G/m] you gotta type that in the JVM arguments in the "Edit Profile" window. For example: -Xmx512m (512 MBs) -Xmx1G (1 gig) (depends on your RAM, allow only about half of your RAM. DO NOT allow more memory than you actually have)
Also why can't you install Optifine? It's a really good way to improve performance in MC since it gives you a lot more options. You can change your fullscreen resolution, dunno why that's not a thing in the game itself.

@user Elfing: He posted that he have only 1GB of ram..

@user Inflexion: I think you need to have at least 2GB of RAM for decent FPS on lowest settings

- View Distance to Low
- Disable MipMapping
- Enable VBO
- FPS: Unlimited
- Particles Minimal
- View bobbing off

@user Assassin moder: gg, everything you said is all what i have expect the mipmap that i everytime disable and goes on.., also btw read this:

Depending on your FPS, you must set the FPS setting into how much you reach.. if you didn't put it on how much you reach, it can lead to a critical FPS drop

+ I tried this and it didn't work so yes.. My computer sux.

EDIT: @user VADemon: please understand, my profile version isn't like any normal user haves.

EDIT2: @user Elfing: Well thanks a little bit because the -Xmx512m thingy helped a little bit.. still I get critical frames per second drop, I think I also explained now why not I dont use optifine..

Im sure these drops arent random, they probably happen when the game gets to render something (particles or huge amount of players?). Please analyze the situation further.

BTW, isn't the game playable at 30FPS ?

thanks yank, forget to mention that mineplex have one spawn, and this spawn is always full of above 10000 players.

Yank, 11 FPS is playable for you I think maybe?
