You have to build a tree house.
You don't *have* to build a tree house; you can do the tree house, OR the hut.
also, in the native area there are a bunch of "un-openable" boxes like the boxes you need a lockpick for. Is there a lockpick somewhere on Adventure Island 4?

when you complete one of the missions (i don't know which one), you'll get a map, where several things are marked, e.g. the key.

2)How do I know all the item combinations?
There are certain items I didn't do(The long-bow for example)

1)it makes you slightly unhealthier and a little tired, but it will get some hunger and thirst away.
2)look in your stranded II folder at mods/stranded II/sys/combinations.inf. there should be all combinations listed. if you're using the massive mod, the combinations.inf is not updated. you'll have to check the combinations_***.inf's

You can try some artistic jumps from the bowed palm or a hill above the treetops. It's possible to change the collision mode, but only for modders.
When I cut down a plant, especially wheat, the glow is so bright that I can close my eyes while cutting and still know when the plant is cut down; it's that bright.

Try to reduce the gamma correction in your video driver settings or the monitors settings menu.
