@lee
hmmm? what exactly have you modified of the cs2dg dedi?
i cant see any modification... all functions i see there were built by TMK ... i pretty wonder how u call that ur mod...
@copy, it's not technically a Mod, the name only applies in the loosest sense. But It's laying grounds for future modifications so that's why I'm calling it a Mod. Sorry for the confusion.
And you dont need to ask this question,just play deil server once,you will know the answer!
What if I don't have a 3D graphic card? which I don't have. Can I play it anyway.
Answer = no.
Why not make some kind of modification to store like servers from europe, america, australia and such in one list. And something like a "upload server" thing. So you could put your own server or something in your region.
ok, the performance/lag problem is solved. the cpu usage for one full server (dust 18 players) decreased to 0,5 %.
the complete cpu usage for all servers and other tools decreased to 0,8%.
that`s fine.
planting bomb and defusing bomb works too.
there is still one problem, the last server with port 37969, is always online but disappers from the server browser, in about 15 - 30 minutes after start.
@KOG, I've contacted you on MSN and I'm currently working on a project that I Think you will be very interested in. A pre-alpha none-working version can be found here:
I dont know why [cs2d.com.br @ world] use sv_usgnrefresh>0 = update to usgn = double ip server in usgn list = double refresh ping = Lag = ~ping 300-600 (in serverlist)
This IP is added to serverlist, so why u use sv_usgnrefresh
actually in all the post 0.0.7.0 servers, the server will lag considerably when you set sv_usgnrefresh to anything below 1. Whereas in 0.0.7.0 the server will sometimes generate a string of exceptions at the handler() function when the server attempts to re-register the server IP into the USGN database, this error is apparently fixed in the 7.1 version therefore there's no harm in setting a sv_usgnrefresh value.
ps: I haven't added the server-side portion of the console yet, I'll probably get it up soon.
