Hey, I admire this mod. Made me play this game again for about a week straight. And I think I still haven't seen all that is new from what I read. Anyway, I wanted to post a list of bugs, but I've seen most here already. Today, however, I encountered another bug. I was making cookies, everything worked right upto then, but when I put them on the grill (I had more then could fit on the grill) whenever I failed to put one on. It would just give me 11 cookie dough 'bonus'. This, plus the fact that you get loads of cookies from 1 cooking session mean that I now have over 500 cookies and plenty more dough.
Not that I tried duplicating it. I was just looking for the defect to list it here.

For some reason the distiller worked fine the other day. But today it doesn't give me any more salt nor will it distill my grain water. Also, I made some barrels before cooking skill 50 (in preperation for the wine and such) but I can't put any thing in there for some reason. I suspect because I build them before I could use them.

I will try a fresh install, perhaps it just gets unstable after a while (or when using the new items in the adventure map, where fires are still infinite for some reason (make great distillers )

Also, as mentioned before, when 'using' bamboo you get grain. Handy, but how about instead being able to plant it at some level and being able to crush it with a rock to make sugar (it's a pain trying to get sugar and ending up with 1000 bamboo which can only be used as bolts (arrows are more versityle imho)

Edit: Also. I was wondering if it is possible to make the islands a bit bigger, or aleast have the natives/proffessor and whoever else is in this game to devinately spawn somewhere. (maybe with a littl' camp or a tent + fire like in the campagn (infinite fire, not that I would use it, but they need something to eat from aswell right?) I suppose you can just imagine them doing so.

I like what you did to the shovel I might add. I am actually thinking of digging a hole somewhere in the ocean, just so I can make an island of my own with a bridge to land. Anyway: Keep up the good work!

but thanks to your post which reminded me i had a crack, ta da i has fix.

it wasn't really to hard. little more difficult than the other fixes.

now when you place a cookie dough on the grill, a single piece(object) of it stays as one unit. so you cannot get infinite like before. and once the dough has cooked it is a random amount of cookies (1-7).

the only downside, is if you put multiple doughs on the grill when they cook, they all make the same random amount of cookies.

the bamboo idea: being able to crush the bamboo or seeds or something into sugar is a good idea. although this is sort of more builders choice.

multiple npc's: lion_hearted's mod currently has this implemented. check it out. you could blend the two mods slightly. but don't redistribute it.

Perhaps it can be used to fertilize plants or trees. Perhaps enriching them to give of instead of 3 sheef per crop, maybe 5 or sumtin. Since it's not that abundant I think that'd be fair. But I'd really love to fling shit at monkeys

Ps. I am not capable of distributing anything. My coding skills ended when Quick Basic became obsolete I can only read small bits, that's all

hmmmm, i actually thought the same thing, back a few versions you could use poo in the forge(not sure why, but it had a use!).

thats a pretty good idea. i like it! but thats more of a builder thing sorry. im not really changing the mod, just createing fixes for the bugs

I did notice 1 thing however. if you have dough and stand next to a fresh water source with cooking 50+ it won't allow you to make dough. You HAVE to use a bottle of water, which is kinda odd. But I can live with it.

Also, I totally don't understand the cookingpot. It might have been bugged for me because I built it long before I had the skill to use it. It didn't matter what I threw into it. It gave me no nutrition nor thirstquenshing. I will test some more as soon as I got the skill in my new world.

Found something:
When you make iron arrows out of wooden arrows, making 1 arrow costs 1 Pebble, making 10 costs 2 Pebbles, 25 costs 4 and 50 costs 8. Kinda odd, as I was hoping to rid myself of all those damn pebbles this way.

yeaaaa... the cooking pot is pretty terrible. you can actually drink from it until there are minus serves and it continues to work. its quite a large script. ill try look into it a bit.

i dont have the script in front of me at the moment sorry, but ill have a look at the arrows in a couple of hours. thanks for the heads up.

edit: i checked out the arrows. i see what you mean. but i think they are meant to be like that. i doubt that it would just be a mistake, although it does actually make more sense that i would take one for each arrow.

again id just like to point out that im not making any changes to the mod/game. that is completly up to builder. im only offering up my time to fix some of these bugs.

We need this. Give me what Ineed, and Iwill commit a couple of hours per week. In a couple of months, we would have a decent guide.
