How do I add bots to my online server? And is it possible to make them only have the knife? It would be pretty awesome, that people could have a zombie theme server, which I'd love to have.
You CAN'T add bots to online servers, you can only play them offline against yourself. You can adjust the bot settings in the bot menu, which you open with "=" if your in-game. You CAN'T play bots online, only offline.
When you've opened the bot menu you can see alot of stuff you can change like how hard the bots are, and you can restrict weapons that they can buy, etc. So if you want them to only have a knife adjust it to your likings.
By the way Player, the key "=" doesn't open my console. On my keyboard the key "§" opens my console, at least on my European keyboard. Not everybody has a European keyboard though, and not everybody has that key because they have different keyboards, yeah. It varies between countries, just wanna say that.
It really depends what their console key is, they can check for their console key in the options on main menu. They can even set their own keys.
And yes it would be cool to play with bots online. Although I doubt it'll happen, but DofS you can suggest it in the Suggestions thread.

Please stay on topic, he never even mentioned that the key = mapped to the toggle console event or that keys are configured universally across all keyboards nor are these even related to the topicthough you wont see any online until he is finished testing
