It can works? Or dont?

To set a sv_remotepw you need to do:

Open the console with " button
Then, type there: sv_remotepw "password"

Or, open the server.cfg, at notepad...
Modify the:
//sv_remotepw
and put there it:
set sv_remotepw "password"

Open a server (doesn't matter settings). When the server loads, type "usgn_hideserver" in the console. In theory, this should prevent anyone who doesn't have your IP to join. However, (because CS2D has so many bugs anyway) when I did this, many people were still able to join, and I was never hacked.

This probably works because the hackers get in through the USGN network and hack your server. But, If your IP doesn't show up on USGN, they won't be able to find it to hack it.

The only downside is, since the server is "hidden", it sometimes felt like only about 5-6 people could join, and when they left, no one else ever joined (this could just be a coinicidence).

Since the Server Security update, I haven't had any trouble with hackers on my servers, but I usually don't run servers for more than an hour. If you are still having trouble, try this and see if it works.

Nope, u cant stop them. U can just ban them if they still playing recreate a server because everyone hacked this version (0.1.0.1) because it out of date ! DC creating a new cs wait until them for now u can try somethink else (it might work)
